Ismail Mohamed Ismail Adam is very active, hard-working, enthusiastic and humble.
His research on linguistics is excellent, and I can feel his ability to use language in the communication with him.
First of all, My name is Ismail Mohamed Ismail and my Chinese name is 张宇 I’m from Sudan.
I graduated at the university of Khartoum, faculty of Arts, department of English language & linguisticsin 2014.
In addition, I am very excited and enthusiastic to participate at youth African competition in China.
As a matter of fact, I would like to go beyond my specification although I have an outstanding knowledge of English which will help me a lot to pursue and to compete internationally in any relevant field. Moreover, I don’ t like to be long- winded but this big break will pave the way for me to widen my mind towards the vital important issues in Africa continent since I realized that I supposed to start working on accomplishing the goals and dreams which have already been mapped in my brain.
Actually, we are agroup of young African located in Sudan and graduated at the university of Khartoum, faculty of Arts, department of linguistics and of course have strong desire to help the students to surmount the obstacles they face in linguitics specification. On the other hand, we took step forward and created facebook page to facilitate, provide the students and researchers with the information they might need.
Every time we suggest a particular topic to discuss cause we do believe that one hand can’t clap and it is really shameful to take the back seat while others need your hand.
Imagine your friend asks: “Can you explain this word please? I don’ t know what does it mean and I can’t grasp it any more. giving others a hand shows you really care about them and that they are highly welcome. It is the best way without doubt to gain their trust.
As long as I remember, when I was sophomore at the university I have been captivated by many issues so I started quickly committing my self to a new duties and responsibilities in a volunteer. work skills program since then I realized that I have the capacity to do something great but every time I have to work like never before. On the other hand, one of my best friends convinced me.
with brilliant idea that they want to establish a center specialized in linguistics and language learning but “you supposed to lead the center’ he said. Immediately, I took long paused and thinking so deeply because takingthe responsibility is not as simple asthat but at least I did.
In the mean time, I wrote essays in the field of linguistics then we created a Facebook page specialized in this field to deliver our messages to a wide range of people particularly the students on how to choose their specification and to answer those who want to specialize in linguistics.
In fact, most of the students have no idea what is linguistics about? so I decide to give them a brief introduction such as what is linguistics? , what are the branches of linguistics, what is the importance of this field, etc.
I am over the cloud nine because they were so satisfied with the a mount of the information available on our Facebook page in the field of linguistics.
In fact, I do believe that you need your team to fall back on to you before they follow you and as a motivational speaker you need your audience to believe in your message before actingor even commenting on what you have really said.
In addition, sometimes we supposed to pour oil on troubled waters and that’s what I’m doing every time at any discussion to call down the game.
My story, goals and dreams
The story of my own started donkeys years a go when I was about to apply to study at the university of Khartoum, faculty of Arts and of course it was my dream to study at this unique university and my dream becomes true. On the other hand, we know that things do not change over night but I do believe in human being ability which cannot be measured at all.
ln fact, a part from my university schedule reading history of China has completely changed my mind set and it wasmy priority and after graduation I studied Chinese asa self-taught within one month I prepared my self to HSK exam level 2 and I achieved a score 163 out of 200 satisfied result right! cause I have a flair for languages.
It wasn’t on my expectation but I did my best. In addition, my dream is to study Chinese language in China because I do believe asa linguist that if someone want to speak a target language he/she has to leave where the language is spoken and furthermore if you want to speak Chinese language fluently then you supposed to have an ample time and emotional feelings towards the language.
After reaching the required level I’m thinking to work as a chinese language teacher, translator and to strengthen the relationships with China by conducting an MA in international relations to
widen my mind and to be able to work collaboratively. Moreover to take an advantages, exchange ideas, meeting different people with different mental capacities.
At last but not keast, I reckon that I haven’t told all the information that I have had in my breast but the only thing that I know Africa as continent filled with dozens and lots of heritage, issues in need of soultionsy.
One of the most important issues is brain drain that attracts my attention and pushed me to write this essay.
Frankly, brain drain consider to be as one of the most dangerous immigration in nowadays nevertheless, it has prons and cons beyond.
So brain drain it is the loss of well educated, well qualified persons because of many reasons beyond.
“Africa continent is in danger”
As far as we know, the actual reasons beyond this process are many and various such as living expenses, intenance policy, lack of job opportunities, and no handsome salaries etc.
this loss absolutely hasprons and cons, how is it?
When you move to a new place or country because of the above mentioned reasons that means the new place is totaly different and comfortable where everything is available, in hand, and upon request.
Why some people immigrate and eradicate, replace, and hide their identies?
the answer will be because of disqualified minorities who climed the social ladder by fatal weapons all of them are dishonrable men.
The Africans are modern mock-up in every single piece of land in this universe and as a guy who witnessed and still witnessing the tragedy in the African communities just put this on an account: “Imagine that there were someone trying to struggle and seeking for the best ever within a bad circumstances as well as a person trying to ride a bicycle”.
Definitely, he has two choice whether to be strong enough to let go or to be mourned as a dead person who kicked the bucket of a heart attack.
Nelson Mandela said: “education is the most powerful weapon that you can use to change the world”
According to the above quotation just I wanted to say: “Although we have an influential figures as high minded as you can never imagine but unfortunately we have learned nothing because we still throwing the rubbish in the street and pay for it and every bucket at any corner is begging us”
Eventually, I would like to thank you in advance for the big break and I’m very eager and enthusiastic to participate in the competition and feeling like a million dollar of being part of it.
Frankly, I don’ t like to be long winded but I hope all the best for me and the other applicants.
