The essay is fluent. He is a outstanding writer.
The youth occupy a large number of the population in any country. They are young, strong, energetic, and lively. The youth refers to the period between childhood and adulthood. The youth range between the age of 18-35 years. Thus, national building refers to the coming together of individuals in developing, growing and establishing a nation in terms of economic growth among other factors. It is the role of the youth to take part into national building. In our case, we would like to focus on how strong youth make a strong nation and the contributions put up by the youth to enable their country achieve its goals and objectives. For any country to accelerate their rate of growth of development, the youth need to be involved. The essay below gives a number of roles that enable youth be part of building a strong nation as follows.
First, the youth need to acquire education. Education being the process of acquiring knowledge, skills, and wisdom will be able to impact the youth with the necessary knowledge that will sustain them during the building of an economy. Education will help the youth be able to read, understand, critique and be able to analyze issues that affect their country. Therefore, it is the role of the government to provide the youth to access of good education and facilities that will be of help in terms of empowering the youth and be able to learn to the highest level of choice. The youth’s stage is the spring of life. It is a stage of dreams and discovery. The youth have the ability and potential to lead their nation into the right sense of direction. Therefore, the first will to conquer for the youth is to help them seek and acquire education as they grow up.
Education leads an individual to be an elite, open minded and full of knowledge. One is able to think critical and enhance a high level of creative and critical thinking. Therefore, education is the first weapon to help the youth make a strong nation.
In addition, the youth in helping build a strong nation are vital in furthering the tenets of democracy. The youth at most believe in liberalism and free thoughts concerning a variety of issues. In a country like Kenya, the youth emerge to be forty percentage of the total population. In 2004 when Prof Wangari Maathai was receiving her Noble Prize, she said this about the youth “I would like to call young people to commit themselves to activities that contribute toward achieving their long term dreams. It was a wakeup call for the youth to tighten their sleeves and walk the talk in order to achieve their absolute best. Apart from being energetic and innovative, the youth are also techno- savvy. There is growing technology in Kenya and globally that is full of ideas for the youth. It is a necessity for the youth to equip themselves with skills and trends that come with technology for better lives. Technology is the next big thing to help the youth solve emerging problems in the society. For instance, Kenya has been hailed in its various innovations in technology. The youth have been creative in terms of coming up with solutions by use of technology. There is a growth in online banking in Kenya courtesy of innovations from the youth.
Furthermore, strong youth make a strong nation in a society that has a great vision for the youth. African youth need to have a great move and visions that will enable them achieve their end goal and targets. A vision is a projection of the future and what is expected of the subject under review. African youths have a variety of visions that will enable them build a great nation. First, they look forward to come up in teams and work as a group towards a common goal.
Working as a group is more beneficial unlike individual work. Therefore, the African youths have been liberal in coming up with forums and groups that are centered to raise great men and women who will be part of building the nation. It is in these groups that the youth elect leaders amongst themselves. Identify them and empower each other. Thus, the vision of the African youth to create an environment that is open minded, ready to learn and explore as they elevate each other together. Visions inspire dreams. Mentorship and teamwork accelerate the speed towards achieving the aforementioned dreams. Illustratively, African youths hope to create an environment that will promote investors and foreigners into Africa. Foreign investors look for sharp, brilliant, and eloquent minds that come up with solutions to the existing world problems. Thus, the African youths have a vision that is looking forward to come invest into Africa. This will create job opportunities to the young people; as a result, improved lives and standards of living will be improved due to the investment of the foreigners in the dreams of the youths. A great example is the collaboration of china and Kenya. The Chinese government has created more opportunities for the youths in Kenya on their ongoing projects in the country like building of roads and other structures. The above illustrates foreign investment into the visions of the youths.
Furthermore, in the quest to achieve a stable, strong nation, the youth in their visions have in mind that they are the backbone of the society. More specifically the economy of a nation, thus, the youth have to work an extra mile in order to help a nation achieve a stable economic society. It is important to put down that African youths in their day-to-day living inspire themselves not too entirely depend on employment. The visions of the African youths are to establish self-employment and not to depend entirely on being employed. The great wealth men in the world run organizations and self-independent firms. This motivates the youths to dig deeper and explore each opportunity that comes their way. Such ventures comprise the visions of the African youths towards realizing self-realization.
Notably, the government has taken an initiative to walk the talk together with the visions of the African youths. Little funds and capital are provided to the youths to finance business and opportunities. This has proved to be of great importance where young rich youth have emerged because of getting funds that provided capital for their entities. The youth are wild at life, vibrant and outgoing, with the zeal and energy, the little funds from the government has created a good channel for growth for the youths. The youths are the most minds that are innovative and creative in their way of doing stuff among other errands. Most youths have business proposals and ideas but only luck the capital to start their business, thus, society needs to provide necessary platforms that can either support or practically put the ideas of the young minds into existence through providing finances or taking up the initiative to see the ideas and creativity of the youths are put to use.
Strong youths built a strong nation also, through how they consume and use internet at their disposal. In this era, technology is at its best thus, youths are the best minds on how the various trends in technology are used to provide solutions and problems to the existing problems. The internet has been condemned to be behind the bad morals and traits in children and the teenage. Well, it is important to note that everything has some negativity but basing on the positive side of the issue, internet has been of great significance to the youths. Unlike the past where people used to spend more time in the library, internet has saved time, proved efficient and reliable by just a click of the topic under research. Internet in relation to the youths has created jobs and opportunities in society. A research recently done in Kenya has proved that a significant number of youths are working online among other initiatives. This has created employment to the youths and provided a place to explore and learn. E learning has been facilitated by the rapid growth of internet. Students can learn, read, and sit for exams online perfectly without much struggle. This has proved to be convenient and efficient to the youths whom do a part time job which makes them out of class most of the time. Thus, the internet has been of benefit than the pros that come with it.
Additionally, the internet has also been of great help to the economy. In building up the strong nation as youths, it is because of internet that has built a platform for carrying transactions online. The e-commerce has created a platform for youths to meet clients far away. Online shopping that involves easy, convenient, and reliable communication. The e-commerce has also expanded the market all over the world making the world turn to a small global village. The youths are the ones taking a great initiative and role in using the internet for the aforementioned purposes. Therefore, the internet has created a unique, versatile, and reliable platform for doing a number of errands without struggle. For instance, the internet has been able to make communication fast, reliable, and better. Thus, in the race for the youths to make million dollar dreams happen, the internet is an added advantage where opportunities have been created. The biases coming along with the internet have been well taken care of by service providers. Immoral and adult content on the internet is either restricted or has been pulled off the internet. There is verification of the age of an individual before accessing such services from online that may be considered a risk to the young generation.
Therefore, the youths are taking key parts in building up a strong nation. The youth have emerged lucrative, opportunists and liberals in their endeavors. Therefore, it is a requirement for the governments, leadership, and other key stakeholders to take action by making it happen.
Such can be done through supporting the young youths. For instance, talent thriving in Africa has faced a varied number of limitations. The society only raises children to pursue education, get quality grades, and get white-collar jobs. Notably, not all students are well blessed in class.
The curriculum only focuses on the IQ level of students y their ability to remember what they have learnt in class after a semester or a term. Students with the abilities outsides the class has little or less to be looked up to in terms of productivity. In reality, talent has proved to pay immensely across the globe. Across Europe and other continents, top earners are because of talent. The youths thus need facilities, mentorship, and growth from a minor stage.
Similarly, it will be of great benefit if the current curriculum is revised and implemented to cater for students across various fields. The youths have ideas, creativity and innovation that if mentored and inspired, it could result to be of great help to the society. Thus, the governments need to balance and cater for the needs and preference of each student from a small age. In addition, building of academies and mentorship organizations for talent such and mentorship will result to coming up of strong youths who will build a strong nation. Such platforms will psyche and motivate the youths to work an extra mile having in mind their talent is watched and rewarded. Illustratively, such forums will keep the youths away from crime and engaging into immoral behavior. Cases of the young getting into drugs and gang groups will be less and few to handle.
In conclusion, the youths are the backbone of any phenomena in a society. Thus, in building up a strong nation, the youth need to be listened to, provided for, mentored and also provided with the necessary resources, be it financial or psychological support that will keep them on toes towards making it happen. Thus, it is a requirement of each individual, the government, non-governmental organizations and self that will be part of the strong youths that are needed for building a strong nation. If the above is not done, the government will not have the youths that are needed to take action into building of the nation. Therefore, the youths are not
only young adults but they comprise of everyone, their environment among other factors as discussed above.
